What We Do

Student Council serves as the representative body for the students at Missouri University of Science and Technology, tasked with voicing their concerns, advocating for their needs, and organizing various activities and events to enhance the school experience. Comprised of elected student leaders, the council collaborates with both students and faculty to address issues, plan initiatives such as improving our learning environment, school events, and foster a positive school culture. By promoting student engagement, leadership development, and community involvement, the student council plays a crucial role in shaping a vibrant, engaging, and inclusive culture on campus.

Our Mission

We as the Missouri University of Science and Technology Student Council strive to help build leadership, serve our students, and represent our student body. Developing leadership within a student body involves fostering qualities of empathy, accountability, and vision. It requires cultivating an environment where every individual feels empowered to take action, collaborate effectively, and inspire positive change. Representing the students entails not only advocating for their needs and concerns but also actively listening to their voices and perspectives. It involves being a bridge between the student body and the university administration, ensuring that decisions are made with their best interests in mind. Moreover, serving the students goes beyond mere representation; it encompasses implementing tangible solutions, creating opportunities for growth and development, and fostering a sense of community and inclusivity. Effective leadership in this context is about leading and serving with humility and dedication to the collective welfare of the student community
