Student Body Presidential Packet Available Now!
Packets for the position of Student Body President are available. This position is open to any undergraduate or graduate who is interested in representing and serving the students of Missouri S&T on the campus, local, and state levels. This is a great opportunity for you to demonstrate your leadership and experience one of the greatest moments of your life.
To be eligible to run, campaign, serve and/or be elected for Student Council President, each candidate must meet the following qualifications:
- A cumulative 3.0 Missouri S&T GPA at the end of the semester prior to the election.
- Must be enrolled in courses at Missouri S&T during his or her term.
- No higher class load than 18 hours per semester during the presidential term
- 30 hours of completed credit on the Missouri S&T campus at the end of the semester prior to the election

Message from the Student Body President:
First of all, I would like to welcome you all back to Missouri S&T. We have so much to look forward to this fall on campus, and I hope you are just as excited as me. I would like to remind you all that Student Council is here to ensure that your experience at S&T is the best it can be. We are moving forward in voicing student concerns on any and all issues.
- Ensure print management system is being utilized effectively and reasonably.
- Pass a reasonable Student Activity Fee for the 2010-2011 school year.
- Continue improvements in Student Health Services.
- Work with student organizations to help them succeed.
- Work with departments on campus to further the green initiative through the purchasing of duplex printers when replacement is necessary.
With this said, I would like to challenge you to get involved. Find where your passion lies and run with it. I would also like to remind you that Student Council is here for you!
